Our hosts in Devon live about seven miles from the sea. This makes trips to beautiful seaside villages easy and so much fun! Several days during the first week of our stay with this dairy farm family we were able to enjoy amazing ocean views, try tasty food at seaside cafes, and see so much as what it's like to be near the ocean in England!
Not only have we experienced multiple coastal towns, but there are villages with canals running through them that were built over a hundred years ago! England has so much history and fantastic places to visit and enjoy!
Below are photos of our time in Lyme Regis, Beer and Tiverton! Beautiful days out and about truly experiencing all that Devon has to offer!

| Julie and I among the quay in Lyme Regis. |
| Fantastic rocks and amazing coastline in Lyme Regis! |
| An awesome bookstore that had this basement room filled with National Geographics and plenty of other interesting books, magazines and other items! |
| Strolling along and taking in tiny passages that share little wonderful views of the water and perfectly arranged greenery. |
| Lyme Regis is along the Jurassic Coast! The coastal cliffs are beautiful like this all along this southern part of England. |
| Beer, England! This village is so small and sweet and has this stream running through its streets down towards to sea. |
| The beach and coast of Beer. |
| Tiverton, England. This town has a canal running through it that once helped bring raw materials like coal to it's center! |
| We had a leisurely stroll along the canal in order to see the canal boat still being pulled along by a horse. |
| A beautiful green walk along the water! |
| The canal boat! Can you see the horse? Because the boat on water becomes so light, the horse is more for a guide than anything! |
Julie! We had a wonderful afternoon in Tiverton with our hosts! We can't thank them enough for their amazing hospitality!
